Location and facilities
The 4-star Hotel Walfriede, built in the typical Tyrolean style, is located quietly with a wonderful panoramic view, directly next to the valley run of the Spieljochbahn lift, which has an artificial snow system (ski-in & ski-out). The hotel offers a wonderful view of the surroundings and is approx. 800 m away from the centre of Fügen. At the modernised lift Spieljochbahn, there is also a toboggan. The nearest ski bus stop is approx. 200 m away, and from here you also have access to the ski area Hochfügen. The train station in Fügen is approx. 1 km away.The cosy hotel offers an entrance area with reception, lift, common room, Wi-Fi, dining room with a small outdoor lounge, cosy parlour, lounge with bar, children's play room with climbing wall, as well as a ski room with ski boots drier. Free-of-charge parking places can be used based on availability, and the parking garage can be used for a locally payable fee (based on availability).
In the spa area "Panorama-Wellnessoase" you can use the Finnish sauna, herbal-pinewood-sauna, steam bath, indoor pool and an infrared cabin as well as a relaxation room with spring water fountain for free. Massages and cosmetic treatments are available for a locally payable fee.
