Ski Area Silvapark

Galtür's ski area counts as being especially snow-sure. 10 lifts connect 40 kilometres of piste at an altitude of 1,600 - 2,300 m. The Birkhahn gondola counts as the centrepiece of the ski area; the newest aqcuisition, however, is the 8-seater Alpkogel gondola. All in all, the area is quite challenging with a large share of red pistes, whilst still counting as being especially family friendly: kids are let onto the lifts first and don't have to wait in line. For those wanting more variety on the piste, we recommend the extension of the lift pass to the Silvretta lift pass, which lets you explore 320 km of piste in the whole Paznaun Valley.
