Ski Area Gastein
The "Ski amadé" lift pass gives you access to a total of more than 860 kilometres of piste, as well as 248 lifts (see ski region)! The ski region Gastein, with its 210.4 km of piste and 44 lifts, is one of the largest and nicest ski areas of the Salzburger Land. Due to the altitude, excellent snow and piste conditions and many snow cannons, fantastic snow conditions are available through to spring can be enjoyed from the end of November until spring. Beginners will find lovely, wide pistes throughout the entire area. More challenging are the runs at Graukogel, which run over into the black FIS racing stretches. Deep snow areas, e.g. at Kreuzkogel as well as numerous ski routes, offer the perfect playground for cracks! Snowboarders can burn off energy at the snow parks on Stubnerkogel and Kreuzkogel. The floodlit piste at Stubnerkogel also attracts skiers in the evening. All in all, four areas await you in Gastein Valley with the ski area Dorfgastein-Großarltal and Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel, the Graukogel and Sportgastein; with their diverse, perfectly connected offer, they let the hearts of all winter sports fans beat faster.
