Ski holidays Heiligenblut - holiday pleasure for young & old!

Heiligenblut

Heiligenblut (1,301 m) lies at the foot of the Großglockner at the upper end of the Möll Valley in the Hohe Tauern National Park. As the adjoining Großglockner high alpine road is closed in the winter, the small alpine town is free of through traffic, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. In addition to the snowy fun in the ski area, every holidaymaker will find a suitable form of entertainment in Heiligenblut, from the indoor pool to the tobogganing run, and ice skating rink, as well as cosy cafes and restaurants right through to après ski bars and discos. Here you will find (almost) everything. The ski crèche "Snowland" ensures that there is a lot of fun to be had for the kids too. Finally, winter hiking trails invite you to savour and relax in the enchanting landscape.

Großglockner

In midst of the Hohe Tauern the majestic Großglockner rises up to 3,798 m altitude - Austria's highest mountain. The region around the Hohe Tauern is still known today as the cradle of Alpine tourism. The ski area of Heiligenblut guarantees snow way into spring, due to it's location on a main mountain crest and the ski area's altitude of 1,301 to 2,989 metres. The intermediary descents and the diverse entertainment offers make this holiday region the ideal place to go for sporty skiers and families alike.
