Ski holidays Ischgl – is and remains an experience!

Ischgl

Ischgl lies at 1,377 m in the middle of the Paznaun Valley in Tyrol between the Silvretta and Verwall groups. Today, the former mountain farming village is known primarily as a party ski resort and meeting place for high society. Ischgl stands for lifestyle, first-class events and of course pure winter sports! For skiers and snowboarders, for example, the way to the three valley stations is made easier by a pedestrian tunnel with moving walkways, so that they can comfortably get from one side of the village to the other. In addition, the Pardatschgrat cable car runs in Ischgl, a three-cable gondola lift which, at 1,251 metres, has the greatest difference in altitude in the world. It transports winter sports enthusiasts comfortably from the eastern edge of the village to the Pardatschgrat.

Off-piste fun is just as important in Ischgl as the winter sports themselves. Guests in Ischgl have the choice between quiet evenings in a spa, in cafés and restaurants or long party nights in the countless bars, clubs and discos in the village. As part of the three "Top of the Mountain Concerts" held every year, international stars of the music industry also perform on the Idalp stage in the middle of the ski area at the season opening, Easter and the season finale. So whether you are a skier, snowboarder, cross-country skier or simply an epicurean - in Ischgl everyone will find what they are looking for. Because here the motto is: "No two days are the same!".

Paznaun Valley

The Paznaun Valley is surrounded by densely wooded mountainsides of the Silvretta mountain chain. The family-friendly and snow-sure ski area of Silva Park offers skiers, snowboarders, and cross-country fans the best conditions. The pistes and trails of the highest situated ski area in the Paznaun Valley are also well-known outside of Austria. The 43 km of piste and 6 km of ski routes with 13 lift systems, which don’t have long waiting times, are especially suitable for families, but alpine skiers, fee skiers, snowboarders and tour skiers will also get their money's worth.

The Silvretta Arena is of the most modern ski areas with 239 km of pistes. 45 lifts carry you comfortably and quickly to the somewhat more challenging pistes, up to an altitude of 2,872 m. The combination of a diverse winter sports holiday and trendy après ski make the Paznaun Valley so unique. No wish is left unfulfilled with the evening's huge leisure programme. Ischgl – the alpine metropolis!
