In a sunny location directly on the Italian border lies the the small city Hermagor, which is surrounded by the ski area Nassfeld. The ski area has excellent pistes: 110 kilometres of varied runs and 30 lifts offer something for everyone's taste! For snowboarders the area is ideal with four snow parks, a boardercross snow-jumping course and a twin pipe for that needed kick! Cross-country skiers in Carinthia will find the best groomed cross-country ski tracks that are 300 km long. During the evening, the state of the art Cube-Hotel hosts international DJ's for the wild après ski party! Nassfeld - the snow must go on!
Directly on the Italian border lies a particularly cosy place at an altitude of 603 m. Thanks to its southern location, Hermagor or the "sun alps" is - like the name suggests - sun drenched. Winter sports in the Nassfeld ski area take place on two levels: cross-country skiers can let loose at approx. 700 m while above, at 2,000 m, an expanded piste area is available. Due to the location on Pressegger Lake numerous activities are offered such as ice skating and ice hockey. In the new, state of the art Cube-Hotel international DJ's host wild après ski parties. Entrance to the ski area is easy from Hermagor.
