Cross-country Brixen in Thale
83 km of cross-country tracks run through the Wilder Kaiser, and due to their variety they suit every degree of difficulty. The widely spread network leads through sun-drenched valleys and offers access to the trails in St. Johann and Kitzbühel. The track from Brixen to Westendorf is particularly beautiful. In total Brixen offers 15 km of tracks, also including the nearly 3 km long high altitude track at 1,300 m of Hochbrixen. In neighbouring Westendorf there are further 32 km of classic trails, as well as 12 km skating-style runs. Further 27.5 km of trails can be found in Söll - a fantastic panoramic view included! A special highlight is the cross-country ski centre in Angerberg/Mariastein which offers you 40 km of perfectly prepred trails, located peacefully and including a night trail. Ellmau offers a total of 13.5 km of cross-country trails, with the longest, 10 km long Kaiser track demanding good endurance. On top of that you can easily access the 225 km long "Koasa" cross-country trail from Ellmau for extra fun! Thus fans of the Nordic discipline can really look forward to their holiday in Brixen and the surrounding area!
