Cross-country Sölden (New Year)
Sölden offers approx. 16 km cross-country skiing runs. Additionally the surrounding districts have some small trails. In Zwieselstein, for example, there are 8 km of track; the trail around Obergurgl is 3 km long. Several romantic tours with a total of 10 km can be found at the outskirts of Oetz, subject to a fee. On the other hand, a bus from Oetz takes you to the high-altitude runs in Niederthai free of charge. More high-altitude trails can be found in Hochgurgl (2 km) at a height of 2,150 m as well as in Vent, the "Ebenle" (1,950 m). The longest trail (5 km) leads from Sölden via Rechenau to Kaisers. A cross-country skiing centre with additional 50 km of run, is located in Längenfeld.
