Feriendorf Ponyhof ****
At a glance
The spacious and cosy holiday village comprises the two buildings "Stammhaus" and "Elternhaus", which are about 50 m apart and connected to each other underground. The Holiday Village Hotel Ponyhof is equipped with a reception with seating corner and Wi-Fi, lift, restaurant, parlour, a sociable hotel bar, a TV room/lounge, children's playroom, ski cellar with ski boot driers as well as a sun terrace with a wonderful view. Free-of-charge parking spaces and a parking garage (payable locally) are also available.
The "Alpen Oase" spa area (approx. 500 m²) offers a Finnish sauna, sauna, sanarium, steam bath, infrared cabin, waterfall, relaxation room and fitness room (opening hours as per info in resort). Furthermore, an indoor pool (08:00 - 21:00) with connecting outdoor pool (weather permitting, 17:00 - 18:00) can be used for free, while the massages, darts, billiards and table football are available for a fee in resort. An entertainment programme (see info on site) completes the offer.
The Holiday Village Ponyhof is characterised in particular by its sustainable energy concept. The organic farm not only uses the spring water on its alpine pastures and regional products from organic farming to supply its guests, but also focusses on sustainability when generating energy by using waste wood. To make this possible, a heating plant was built in 2013, which was even honoured by the Ministry for a Livable Austria.
