Pamporovo

Pamporovo is a modern resort, designed for relaxation, and lies in the heart of the Bulgarian Rhodope Mountains at the foot of the Snezhanka. Especially in the winter tourists are attracted to the resort, as the lovely ski area is known to be one of the most southern in Europe. You can enjoy many sunny hours throughout the day, accompanied by agreeable temperatures and great snow conditions at the same time - any alpine winter sports fan's dream!

The ski area is located between 1,620 and 1,925 m altitude and offers diverse pistes, a half-pipe and a fun park. The area is especially suitable for beginners and families to practice the first swings on skis, all in wonderful surroundings. But also pros will find a good selection of runs, as there are also black pistes that offer a challenge. And after a long day on the pistes you can go and let yourself be spoilt in one of the quaint restaurants in resort.

Smoljan

The impressive region Smoljan lies in the picturesque mountain range Rhodopen, a wonderful massif which stretches along the Greek and Bulgarian boarder. The highest mountain in the massif is the Perelik with it's peak at 2,191 m altitude. The region is highly popular in winter with both skiers and boarders and offers wonderful landscapes and an unusually mild climate. The geographic location promises good snow and diverse surroundings. Further, many cultural attractions in the region are only waiting to be discovered.
