Lapland

Lapland is Finland's northern-most and largest province, covering approx. 30% of the country's area. The majority of Lapland lies above the Arctic Circle and is shielded from the Atlantic by the Scandinavian mountains. This excellent location ensures absolute snow security. The length of the day increases rapidly from spring onwards, allowing winter sports fans to spend up to 16 hours on the piste in March and April.
