Ski area Méribel

The cable car brings you from Brides les Bains up to the well-known winter sports resort Méribel (1450 m) and the ski area of the same name. Joining onto Brides les Bains, the Méribel ski area has 150 kilometres of pistes and 45 lifts. There are 85 blue pistes, 47 red pistes and 18 black pistes to ensure there's lots of fun to be had and a challenge for every level of skills. There are also two snow parks, including the Elements Park divided into three areas, and 28 km of ungroomed runs for snowboarders, freestylers and off-piste skiers. In 1992, the Olympic downhill races were held here, demonstrated by the "Compagnol", which is the longest run in the area. Highly recommended for advanced skiers is the 1 km long "Les Bosses", which surmounts 350 m in altitude and counts as one of the hardest runs in the region. Furthermore, Méribel is connected to the world-famous "Trois Vallées" ski region, which at 600 kilometres of pistes is one of the largest ski areas in the world.

Snowpark: DC Area 43 Snowpark Brides les Bains

Your lift pass gives you access to Méribel's unique snowparks. The "Elements Park", which is shaped by Ho5Park, offers various lines for freestylers at all levels of difficulty. Especially beginners can look forward to test their skills on several obstacles like boxes, rails, jibs, as well as a boardercross track.

Located at "Plattiere 2" lift is another special highlight of the region: DC Shoes Europe decided to create a "DC Area 43 Snowpark" also in Méribel. They were supported by Hill Technics Team and, among others, the European X-Games Superpipe Shaper Benjamin Ravanel. Located on an altitude of 2,300 m and with a length of 1,200 m, the park offers 40 rails and 45 kickers in various shapes in the levels green, blue, red and black. Additionally there is a separate jib zone, a bag jump, a boardercross trail as well as two halfpipes, one of wich is only suitable for experts. Both parks let you record your creativity, so that you can watch your tricks online. The park's Chill Zone lets you relax while listening to good tunes.
