The comfortable 3.5-star accommodation Hotel Hochkalter is located idyllically approx. 500 m from the resort centre of Ramsau and offers the ideal starting point for a wonderful winter holiday in the Berchtesgadener Land. The centre of Berchtesgaden itself is approx. 9 km away. The local bus (some payable locally, also goes to the resort Berchtesgaden) stops directly in front of the accommodation.The complementary ski bus stops directly in front of the building and takes you to the approx. 3 km distant ski area Hochschwarzeck. The family-run accommodation offers a main and a side building which are connected which each other. The hotel has a reception, lift, restaurant, bar, in-house library, wifi in the "Glacier Parlour" (incl.) and a terrace. The spacious spa area includes a swimming pool with waterfall showers and massage jets, Finnish sauna, herbal aroma sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, Kneipp baths with waterfall, saline grotto, relaxation room with water beds, conservatory with fireplace and relaxation beds, as well as a fitness room - all of which is free to use. The solarium, as well as massages and beauty treatments can be requested if paid for locally. Per full-payer and stay you can either enjoy one dream bath with music and a glass of sparkling wine, or one Prinz Luitpold bath in a nostalgic bath tub and a glass of sparkling wine (bookable for couples and individuals, special appointment needs to be made with the hotel before arrival otherwise the hotel makes the appointment for the guests). Further there is a spa buffet including vitality snacks, tea, water and other non-alcoholic beverages to take freely. Parking spaces are free at the building, there is also a locally payable carport available for guests.

The cosily furnished rooms and suites all offer a bath/wc, hair drier, telephone, wifi (payable locally, via hotspot), satellite TV, radio and balcony. The rooms are comply to 3-star standard and are located in the main building, the suits have 3.5 stars and are to be found in the annex.
Board
Already included in the holiday price is half-board PLUS. This comprises an extended breakfast in buffet form, home-made cake on a buffet in the afternoons and a 4-course evening menu with salad bar. Dietary and lactose-free meals can be prepared on request.
