The family-run 3-star Gasthof Braun is located quietly and idyllically approx. 8 km from the centre of Winterberg and approx. 3.5 km from the cross-country centre Westfeld. The ski area can be accessed within approx. 5 km and the nearest cross-country trail is directly at the house. The cosy inn offers a breakfast room, restaurant, bar and ski room with boot drier. The spa area is equipped with sports machines (incl.), Finnish steam sauna, infrared cabin, solarium and massage bed (payable locally). Further there are free parking spaces available. The guest programme, such as e.g. hiking, is included in the holiday price (once per week). Should skiing not be possible, due to bad weather conditions, the lift pass grants you free access to the sauna, infrared warmth cabin and hydro-jet massage bed, as well as 1x 2 hours free entry to the "Saunerland Bad" pool complex in Bad Fredeburg (approx. 15 km).
Furnishing/Board
The rooms have shower/wc, and some come with a balcony. The included half-board is comprised of a hearty breakfast buffet including e.g. eggs, muesli, fruit, quark, and cold cuts. A three-course meal is served in the evenings. Special diet cuisine and other can be organised on request.

The traditional 4-Star Hotel Gnacke is located in an idyllic area in the health resort Nordenau in the Schmallenberger Sauerland and lies approx. 10 km away from the centre of Winterberg and 4 km away from the next ski area. The stop of the free ski bus is approx. 50 m away from the accommodation and takes you comfortably to the ski area. The comfortable hotel does not only offer a reception, but also a restaurant, a breakfast room, a bar, a common room, free wifi and and a ski cellar above the well-kept spa area, in which you can relax and treat yourself. It offers an indoor pool with a wonderful panorama view, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath as well as a fitness room. Various spa, massage and cosmetic treatments can be booked and paid locally. Parking spaces are available to you free of charge.

The comfortable Sporthotel Kirchmeier is located in a quiet spot in the district Altastenberg. The centre of Winterberg as well as the ski area can be reached in approx. 5 km. The ski area Altastenberg as well as the ski bus stop are only approx. 800 m away from the accommodation. The comfortable sports hotel offers a reception, wifi (incl.) restaurant, breakfast room, bar, table tennis room, children's playroom, ski room and a terrace. Tennis courts and a skittles alley are available for a fee. The free spa area offers an indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam bath and a relaxation room. The solarium, sauna and various beauty and spa treatments, e.g. face treatments, massages, body packs, relaxations baths and manicures can be booked and paid for locally. Free parking spaces can be used, provided they are available. When paying the local tourist tax, guests also receive the "Sauerland Card". When showing this card there are possible reductions with sports facilities, activity pools and museums. Further the card enables free use of buses and trains in the Hochsauerland area.
