Ski holidays Valles - Idyllically family-friendly resort in a high, Alpine valley!
Valles
A small wonder in the mountains: At 1,353 m altitude, the tranquil, 600-resident village of Valles (German: "Vals") is settled in a high, Alpine valley. Protected to the north by the Pfunderer Mountains, Valles is an ideal destination for hikers both in summer and winter. Winter sports fans journey to Valles not just for the picturesque landscape experienced during skiing and deep-snow tours, but also for the family-friendliness the ski area has to offer, with its easy to intermediate pistes. A highlight for hikers can be found in the highly unique, Alpine hut village of Fane-Alm, where visitors are provided with the charms of times past. Once used as place of refuge from a plague outbreak, the rustic huts and little church are still intact today. Winter hikers and tobogganers can also make a worthwhile stop into two cosy huts along their trails.Val d'Isarco
Val d'Isarco lies in the heart of South Tyrol and stretches from the Brenner to the Etsch estuary at Bozen. Dominated by the river Eisack, the valley boasts an impressive diversity of landscape at every time of the year. In the winter 95 km of pistes with varied difficulties invite skiers to the slopes. Whether beginner or expert - there is something for everyone. Due to its special location, the region is known to be very sunny and also snow-sure. Also away from the pistes there are many possibilities to spend an exciting day.Travel Valles
