Ski holidays Spain

Following the phrase "Viva España", Spain isn't just a great holiday destination in summer. The diverse landscape and climate make it possible to go skiing and swim in the sea on the same day. Every ski region on the Iberian peninsula has its own charm and special features, making them worth an exploration. With high mountains and snowy forests, the scenic variety here knows no limits. Particular cultural highlights, e.g. flamenco or bull fighting, which stands for grace, bravery and beauty in Spain, give the country its own special charm. A must in Spain is the typical Spanish fiesta, which is sure to be celebrated somewhere.

Eastern Spain:
The gorgeous mountainous landscape in Eastern Spain is particularly impressive with its unique and imposing backdrop. The various ski areas are guaranteed to make every winter sports fan's heart beat faster. A winter holiday here is sure to be a lovely experience, as the mountain range not only offers scenic descents, but also a wonderful panorama.

Andalusia:
Andalusia - a mix of all sorts of culture, 260 km of coastline, altitudes up to 3,400 m and snow-covered mountains with excellently prepared pistes and racing runs in white powder. The Sierra Nevada was declared a national park in 1992 and is the number 1 ski area in Spain. Both of the highest points on the Iberian peninsula, Mulhacén (3,482 m) and Veleta (3,392 m) offer all winter sports fans, whether beginner or expert, tons of skiing fun and gorgeous views. Andalusian cities such as Granada, Sevilla or Cordoba demonstrate a varied history. In particular the Moors, who ruled here for a long time, left traces in the form of the numerous examples of architecture such as the Alhambra palace in Granada.
