Ski area Baqueira-Beret

With the lift pass "Baqueira-Beret" you have access to 104 km of piste and 33 lift sytsems. The ski area is one of the largest in Spain and was only recently extended and modernised. Start with the gondola or chair lift in Baqueira and head straight into the ski area. The ski area is located in the heart of the Pyrenees and impresses with a difference in altitude of over 1,000 m, which makes it one of the most popular areas on the Iberian peninsula. Correspondingly, all skiers from beginners to experts will find the right terrain on the beautiful, wide pistes and open valley runs to Baqueira. There are blue pistes into the valley all through the area, which is great for beginners. You can look forward to high snow security, thanks to the ski area's western Atlantic orientation. Additionally there are sufficient snow canons available. In the vast snow park freestylers and those who practising to be, can show off their tricks on beginner obstacles or choose the large kicker. Deep snow fans will find fantastic opportunities to ski down into the valley, thanks to the expansion of the ski area. A further highlight in Baqueira is heli-skiing. Relatively low prices with a breathtaking view - a top recommendation.

Après ski Baqueira

After a varied, fun day on the piste, several bars and discos await party-hungry guests in Baqueira, particularly in the larger hotels. The evening should traditionally begin in one of the many Tapas bars. Those who prefer to remain sporty in the snow, can try out a snowshoe hike or go on a dog-sledging tour. Culture buffs should take a trip to the approx. 7 km distant Arties, which will win guests over with its lovely, historic centre. All those looking for a more low-key time can let their minds wander and enjoy their holiday on a cosy stroll through the resort.
