Ski area Anzère

The "Anzère" lift pass grants you access to 58 km of piste at an altitude between 1,500 - 2,420 m, all of which are connected via lifts. From the sides of the pistes, you have a great view over the Valais Alps, and when weather conditions allow it, you can see from the Bietschorn mountain all the way to Mont Blanc, as well as over 12 mountains that reach over 4,000 m altitude. The ski area stretches out over both peaks of Pas de Maimbre (2,362 m) and La Bâte (2,420 m). The pistes in the peak area are intermediate, but still manageable enough that well-practised beginners could enjoy them as well. Experienced skiers will be provided with many diverse and demanding runs, but six blue pistes make this pro area even accessible to beginners.

Fans of fun will find what they're looking for in Anzère: Snowboards and free skiers can let off steam in the Flypark, whose two specialised areas - blue for beginners and red for experts - provide action for everyone. Freestylers can get revved up on kickers and ramps, heading upwards to the boardercross run where you can race back down into the area. The valley run will be artificially snowed up, and the run takes you to just before your accommodation's door. In the village, children can also practise on a small practise piste with a ski lift and conveyor belt.

Après ski Anzère

Anzère remains a rather easily navigable resort, but still offers several entertainment possibilities when off the piste. The programme starts in the numerous restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as the "La Masque" disco and continues on with other sporting activities.

The toboggan run is a great place to start, taking you on an idyllic ride through the forest. Next is snowshoe hiking, which introduces you to the natural surroundings. To round off the day on a more relaxing note, a visit to the spa and wellness centre is your best choice. You'll be provided with an indoor and outdoor pool, a children's area and a large wellness area with facilities like a sauna, jacuzzi, hammam and much more.

A popular place to meet up in winter is the traffic-free village square in the centre of the resort. You'll not only find an ice skating rink, but also a large serving of hot mulled wine for guests once a week.

Snowpark: Snowpark Flypark Anzère

The Flypark is split up into a beginners area with mini boxes and hills and a pro area. Challenges include 3 to 15 m high jumps, a rail garden and other obstacles.

Additionally, a boardercross run is available to use in the Anzère ski area.
