Switzerland offers breathtaking alpine beauty. Traditional top ski resorts such as Davos, St. Moritz or Zermatt alternate with family-friendly and idyllic winter sports resorts. Together with the 4 Vallées or Les Portes du Soleil you can also find high-end interconnected ski areas that link several top ski regions - sometimes even crossing borders! The Swiss lodges are well known for their rustic, cosy atmosphere as well as for the hearty chesse fondue.
Bernese Oberland: Numerous 4,000 m mountains, idyllic villages, modern lift systems and famous winter sport resorts including Grindelwald or Meiringen-Hasliberg guarantee a fine ski holiday! In addition to panoramas of the Breinz and Thun lakes, spectacular panoramas of the icy highlands and the world-famous peaks, e.g. Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau can be enjoyed every day!
Graubünden: The largest of the Swiss cantons presents itself as very versatile: varied ski areas, such as Flims-Laax-Falera, numerous spa facilities, world-famous ski resorts like Davos, St. Moritz or Samnaun, combined with first-class Swiss cuisine! It is not in vain that celebrities from all over the world come here year after year to enjoy the perfect winter holiday.
St. Gallen: In northeastern Switzerland, and in the middle of Europe, the canton of St. Gallen is situated. Standing on the peak of the famous Säntis mountain (2,502 m), you can - believe it or not - enjoy the view of six different countries: Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Lichtenstein, France and Italy. The canton is divided into four tourist regions: Lake of Zürich, the metropolis St. Gallen, Toggenburg with its gentle hill landscapes and Heidiland with the Flumserberg ski paradise. St. Gallen's famous ski areas lie in the southern parts of the canton: in addition to Flumserberg, there is also the Pizol mountain and the Wildhaus-Unterwasser-Alt-St. Johann, that above all attracts families.
Valais: Valais – a versatile winter paradise! Imposing backdrops of peaks, ice and snow: the highest mountains in Switzerland, crowned by the Matterhorn, stand here. The largest alpine glaciers are here as well, among them the Aletsch glacier, and impressive ski regions such as 4 Vallées, Saas-Fee and Les Portes de Soleil. Snowy forests and cosy, old wooden houses round off the breathtaking scenery.
Central Switzerland: Central Switzerland stretches over five cantons - and the winter sports regions, stretching over rocky and icy highlands to the far hill country, are correspondingly diverse. The ski area Engelberg is located in the middle of the high Swiss Alps and is characterised by the imposing peak of the Titlis, which entices skiers and boarders from all corners of the world!
