Ski holidays St. Moritz - fun in the snow and glamour!

St. Moritz

St. Moritz is located at an altitude of approx. 1,800 m inmidst of Oberebgadin just above the Engadin Seenplatte. Being one of the winter sports resorts chosen by the famous people of the world, staying in impressive 5-star hotels, the traditional resort often is combined with the attributes exclusive and glamourous. The picturesque mountain landscape with idyllic lakes and massive 3,000-ers is often overlooked. The traditional Engadin cosyness is especially noticeable just outside St. Moritz-Dorf and St. Moritz-Bad in the Oberengadin area.

On the local mountain, the Corviglia/Piz Nair, you can choose between an unforgetable day inmidst of the world's high society in gourmet chef Reto Mathis' restaurant or in an attractive ski area with spectacular views. Additionally, St. Moritz has the only bob run with natural ice worldwide and has already been the event site of 5 Alpine Ski Championships and 2 Olympic winter games.

Engadin

The sun-spoilt Engadin Upper Valley lies in the Graubünden canton. The region is separated into Upper Engadine and Lower Engadine, Upper Engadine being really impressive with its gorgeous landscape filled with lakes, forests and breathtaking glaciers. "Piz Bernina" is the only 4,000 m mountain in the eastern Alps. It is very impressive and, along with the majestic Morteratsch glacier, is located in Engadin. The region is not just the fount of "white winter holidays", but also the River Inn. The upper valley astonishes constantly with contrasts, which really distinguishes the famous resort of St. Moritz. St. Moritz is an annual destination for high society. In addition to modern and luxurious architecture, one can find many rustic farms and old Romanesque churches in the rest of Engadin.
