Ski Region Jungfrau-Region-Aktives
The fantastic Jungfrau ski region with a total of 213 kilometres of piste up to 2,971 m, can be divided into three sections which are connected by lift, ski bus and train. Grindelwald's home mountain, and insiders' tip for all snowboarders, is the First. 50 km of dominantly easy to medium pistes present themselves here, although the run from the 2,500 m high Oberjoch compels respect, even from the pros.
The main area, connecting Grindelwald to Wengen over the ridge by a system of lifts, has interesting deep snow terrain and impresses with over 100 km of pistes of all difficulty levels as well as the traditional World Cup run "Lauberhorn". Snowboarders spend their time in the "Snowboard Valley" or in the half-pipe at Männlichen.
