Ski Area Adelboden-Lenk
Adelboden-Lenk offer incredible 185 km of piste at a snow-sure altitude of 1,100 - 2,400 m. modern lift systems ensure unproblematic transport to mainly easy to intermediate pistes. The ski region holds wonderful slopes for both beginners and pros to try out. The centre of the ski area is the tiny resort resort Geils at 1,707 m. Especially good carving terrain is to be found towards Lenk. The longest run is the valley descent in the area of Lenk and offers 7 km of pure skiing fun. The most difficult pistes are the Wolfspiste at Luegli down to Geils with 2.1 km length and 431 m altitude difference. Those who'd like to continue skiing after sun down, can do so on the flood-lit pistes around Adelboden. Directly above the district Boden, the steep world-cup approved slope is to be found and free riders will feel right at home at the Engstligealp. Snowboarders will find perfect conditions in the snow parks with quarter- and half-pipes, jumps as well as slides and boardercross runs.
