Ski area Savognin

The "Savognin" lift pass grants you unlimited access to an incredible ski area with 80 km of piste. The areal reaches up to about 2,700 m, where you can wander about and take in the view of the wintry, enchanted mountain range and its deep snow areas. The pistes extend up to 200 m width and therefore offer brilliant conditions for carving and snowboarding. The entire area stretches from the peaks of the Piz Cartas (2,713 m) and Piz Martegnas (2,670 m), which are accessible by 10 lifts and connected via the piste No. 11. The longest run covers 11.5 km and takes you from the Piz Cartas via Somtgant right down to Savognin. In the fun park Tigignas you can try yourself on exotic fun sports equipment, such a snowcycles and skifoxes. If you prefer rough, off-piste terrain, there is also the option to take part in a guided ski tour. Deep powder snow riding is possible alongside many prepared pistes.

In the children's ski paradise La Nars, the little ones can learn playfully on the snow carousel and in the Magicpark how to get started on skis. In the Railpark small jumps and obstacles wait to be tried out. The longest, covered magic carpet in entire Switzerland, with a total length of 171 m, provides easy access to the practise area. Both this area and the Tigignaspark can be surveyed from the sun terrace of the mountain restaurant Tigignas, so parents always can cast an eye on their little ones. It is not for nothing that this ski area is accounted the Swiss quality seal "Families welcome".

Après ski Savognin

Interested in enjoying the fantastic mountain scenery, sitting in a deckchair at midday on a sun terrace? If you’re looking for precisely that, then visit the Berghaus Radons or the Iglu-Bar near the valley station, which provides a comfortable après-ski atmosphere. The many cafés and restaurants leave no wish unfulfilled, whether it’s regional or fine cuisine you’re looking for.

There are various leisure activities to enjoy in Savognin. These include two toboggan runs which also comprise a 7.5 km, professionally prepared Schlittada Run from Somtgant to Savognin, 65 km of prepared winter hiking trails, horse-drawn sleigh rides, indoor pool, sauna, tennis courts, squash, paragliding, fitness centre and indoor climbing-wall. If you find all this too ‘normal’ you can also go on a moonlight snow shoe hike or race down the slopes on airboard.

Snowpark: Tigignas Park Savognin

The Tigignas Park is a classic obstacle snow park. Here, skiers and boarders have the choice to swap out their equipment and try something new: a Firefox (a type of milking stool with mini-skis on your feet) and a Snowcycle (a type of scooter with skids) are ready to be tested. Whoever feels like biking down a snow-covered slope can live the experience here. On an approx. 300 m long parcour, you can take the equipment out for a spin and ride to your heart's content.
