The famous Quatre Vallées are indisputably a great experience for skiers! They offer 85 lifts, as well as 331 kilometres of piste and ski routes, of which 200 km are average to steep. Furthermore, the "4 Valleys" are a paradise for deep snow fans. Mont Fort at 3,300 m is located in the centre and is considered "the summit of amusement". From here, ski the longest valley run with 15 km and an altitude drop of 2,500 m! Verbier is undoubtedly one of the highlights in the life of a skier. The Quatre Vallées ski region offers 94 lifts and 410 kilometres of piste, 270 km of which are classified as medium to steep. The 3,300 m high Mont Fort dominates the centre of the area, a mountain bearing the nickname "Peak of Enjoyment". A special highlight is the 18 km long run into the valley with a difference in altitude of over 2,500 m. Verbier is a paradise for off-piste lovers. The area lift pass "Verbier" includes 105 km of piste around Mont Fort (although not including the gondola to the peak). The valley village of Le Châble is an original Wallis settlement rather than a purpose-built ski resort.
