How does one travel best to the ski resorts in the USA? The nearest airports are Denver for Colorado and Salt Lake City for Utah. Mammoth Yosemite Airport is best for travelling to California, or Reno or Sacramento. The distance to each airport from the various resorts is printed above the map. Those travelling by rental should be sure that your car is winter-proofed and equipped with snow chains. Whether travel by plane to the US is offered can be confirmed in the booking process. A transfer, if offered, must be booked separately.
