The Arlberg (1,304 - 2,811 m) is one of the most snow-sure areas in the Alpine region and offers a unique variety of piste, demanding ski routes, freeride opportunities, snowparks and trendy apres ski bars. Like this, the Alberg is a true winter sports all-rounder.

The area is devided in two - the southern side comprising St. Anton and the villages St. Christoph, St. Jakob and Stuben on the one hand, and the north-western side with the resorts Zürs and Lech. There is no direct connection by lifts or piste, but very good skiers who don't want to use the ski busses can conquer the very steep descent from the Valluga through the Patzieltal together with a ski instructor. The ski area at the Sonnenkopf in Klösterle also belongs to the area.

In the 2013/14 winter season, the ski region was further extended by the connection of the ski areas Lech-Zürs and Warth-Schröcken and the new Auenfeldjet lift. Guests with the lift pass "SkiArlberg" now have access to a total of 341 km of piste and 94 lifts - diverse slopes, fun and challenges included for everybody, beginners and pros alike. Professional skiers for example can let off steam on the pistes for the world-championship. Snowboarders and freestylers will love the snowparks and 200 km deep powder snow pistes.
