Ski area La Plagne

With the lift pass "Domaine La Plagne", you can discover 135 pistes with a total length of 225 km and 74 lifts ranging between 1,207 and 3,167 m. All major ski slopes from the main four peaks of Roche de Mio (2,700 m), La Grande Rochette (2,505 m), Les Verdons (2,500 m) and Le Biolley (2,350 m) end in the semicircular bowl of La Plagne. Any spot in the ski area can be reached from any of the ski centres!

For beginners, at every station there are level slopes; the tree-free slopes at Belle Plagne are especially good for a first attempt. The entry into the ski area has been switched to the centre of La Plagne: A beginners area and a new green piste have been created and the 4-persons chairlift "Bécoin" has been replaced by a 6-persons lift. The snow parks with halfpipe, boardercross and various extras round off the comprehensive offer. La Plagne is even home to the longest fun slope in Europe

The deep powder snow areas promise an absolute highlight for off-piste fans. Especially the Face Nord, the north facing side of the Bellcôte glacier, is highly attractive for experienced free riders, however should only be explored with ski guides.

With the upgraded "Paradiski Illimité" lift pass (payable locally), you have daily access to Les Arcs' and La Plagne's total 425 kilometres of piste, which are connected by the modern “Vanoise Express”. Furthermore, with the 6 days lift pass "Paradiski Illimité" you can make use of even more delights, such as a half day skiing on the afternoon of your arrival day, one free entry at the Village Igloo Arc 2000 ice cave and much more (see info on site).

Night skiing La Plagne

The ski region Paradiski is a real paradise also when it comes to night skiing. The centre of night skiing fun is on the pistes in Les Arcs. Three night ski pistes are available for the popular skiing fun in the evening: an approx. 1 km blue piste is illuminated in Les Arcs 1600 at the 3-person chairlift Combettes. Another floodlit piste can be found in Les Arcs 1800 further up the mountain. Here, the 6-person chairlift Marmottes leads to another, also approx. 1 km blue piste. Both pistes have an easy level of difficulty so that night skiing by floodlight is possible for everybody.A night ski highlight for freestylers and snowboarders can be found in the new "Mille 8" are in Les Arcs' district Chantel. The boardercross-fun-areal "Les Bosses" is illuminated by LED lights every Thursday until 20:30. It can be reached via the Villard gondola's mountain station. From La Plange the night ski areas can be accessed with the Vanoise Express.
