Location
The traditional 3-star Thermalhotels & Walliser Alpentherme consist of three former hotels and are located directly at Leukerbad's historical village square. It is around 600 m to the Leukerbad-Rinderhütte lift. On the day of arrival and day of departure you can use the free shuttle at Leukerbad's bus station (with advance notice).Facilities
The accommodation consists of the main building Maison Blanche and the building sections Hotel de France and Grand Bain, as well as the Lindner Alpentherme. All the buildings are connected to each other via an underground passage, so you can easily reach all the hotel's facilities.The cosy accommodation offers a reception, lobby, fireplace lounge, Wi-Fi and internet corner, lift, dining hall, as well as an a la carte restaurant in the Hotel de France. In addition, the public parking garage is available to use for a fee.
The approx. 11,500 m² spa area (7:00 - 20:00) in the hotel and the alpine thermal baths offer different free indoor and outdoor thermal pools (approx. 36° C), bath grotto, Finnish sauna, steam bath and relaxation room, as well as a fitness room with 20 stations (8:00 - 20:00).
For a fee, traditional Chinene medicine with acupuncture, ayurveda, sport medicine, osteopathy, physiotherapy and anti-aging treatments are offered. Furthermore, special Thalasso treatments, Scen Tao and Indonesian spa treatments are available.
Additionally, you will receive free entry to the Walliser Saunadorf in the Walliser Alpentherme (1 x per person/stay), as well as a 20% reduction on treatments is the Walliser Alpentherme.
Board
A rich breakfast buffet is included in the price. In addition, in the evening on the day of arrival you will receive a 4-course meal with two choices for the starter and main course in the Maison Blanche restaurant. Reductions
- When accommodating 2 persons paying the full holiday price in a Double room/addl. bed, shower/wc (approx. 21 m²), BB, further holiday participants receive the following reduction:
- until (incl.) 5 years 90%
- 6-11 years 65%
The exact amount of the reduction will be shown after an offer has been prepared (click on desired price).
The percentage of the reduction applies to the entire basic per person price including the accommodation and lift pass price.
Babies younger than 24 months of age at the time of travel tend to travel for free (providing there is nothing else written in the accommodation description), but they must be listed on the booking confirmation.
Travel Info/Map
How does one best travel to Switzerland? Among the nearest airports are Zurich, Basel, Sion, and Bern. Depending on the destination, Friedrichshafen, Milan, or Innsbruck are also feasible. The distances from the different train stations and airports to the resorts are shown above the map. Those travelling by car will find a link to a route planner in the lower lefthand corner of the map. Simply enter your origin location and a route will be calculated for you. Please note, that it is wise to be informed about the closure of mountain passes during the winter months! Please also take into consideration that your car is required to be equipped for winter conditions, and that you will need snow chains with you.
