Location and facilities
The comfortable 4-star Hotel Säntis is situated in an ideal location, embedded between the Säntis and the imposing mountain range of Churfirsten. The resort centre of Unterwasser, as well as the Chäserrugg lift and the ski bus can all be reached in approx. 150 m. The hotel lies directly at the valley run, so ski-in up to the building is possible when snow conditions allow it. The 5 km long toboggan run opens up directly at the hotel, and a cross-country trail runs along the hotel about 200 m away.The hotel comprises a main and a side building and was awarded a "KidsHotel" by Schweiz Tourismus, the Swiss tourism association. The hotel provides you with a welcome area with reception, lift, Wi-Fi, dining room, trattoria and a la carte restaurant, Säntis Bar and a ski room for your equipment. Free parking spaces are also available.
The hotel's own spa area (open daily 08:00 - 21:00) offers an indoor pool, sauna and relaxation room. Moreover, massages and use of the solarium can be additionally booked in resort (both for a fee and with previous reservation).
The KidsHotel provides the youngest guests with a diverse programme, such as a playroom with PlayStation, TV and video (no supervision) as well as 1 x weekly pizza baking workshop for children.
With a previous reservation you can also take part in curling, toboggan hire and horse-drawn sleigh rides are offered for a locally payable fee.
Rooms
The spacious and brightly-furnished rooms comprise of a bath or shower/wc, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, radio, safe, mini bar (for a fee) and some come with a balcony or terrace. The rooms are to be found in the main building.Board
The already included half board consists of a rich breakfast buffet including but not limited to various cereals and cooked eggs as well as a 4-course evening meal of your choice (2 main dishes to choose from). Children up to and including the age of 11 will receive a "Kids menu" in the form of a 2-course evening meal.On Christmas Eve, a Christmas dinner will be served, and on New Year's Eve a 6-course gala dinner will be served with evening programme and Apéro is also included. For children up to and including 13 years, a special children's programme and children meals is offered.

The percentage of the reduction applies to the entire basic per person price including the accommodation and lift pass price.
Babies younger than 24 months of age at the time of travel tend to travel for free (providing there is nothing else written in the accommodation description), but they must be listed on the booking confirmation.
Travel Info/Map
How does one best travel to Switzerland? Among the nearest airports are Zurich, Basel, Sion, and Bern. Depending on the destination, Friedrichshafen, Milan, or Innsbruck are also feasible. The distances from the different train stations and airports to the resorts are shown above the map. Those travelling by car will find a link to a route planner in the lower lefthand corner of the map. Simply enter your origin location and a route will be calculated for you. Please note, that it is wise to be informed about the closure of mountain passes during the winter months! Please also take into consideration that your car is required to be equipped for winter conditions, and that you will need snow chains with you.
