Several diverse descends for beginners and the more ambitious skiers await with seemingly unlimited, snow secure skiing pleasure. The cabin lift Goldried takes you from Matrei directly to the ski area and the 6-person chair lift Cimaross takes winter sports fans up to 2,621 m altitude.

There is a children's ski park with magic carpet and igloo. Snowboarders can enjoy themselves in the funpark with slides and jumps. Natural snow as well as high-performance snow machines make the ski area one of the most snow secure in the Alps. Those who have enough stamina should not miss a go on the 11 km valley run "Goldried" to Matrei. Cracks find some challenging black pistes at the Cimaross in direction of Matrei as well as at the Blauspitze to Kals.

Freestylers should take advantage of a day trip to the ski area St. Jakob im Defereggental at the Brunnalm. Here, the "defRaggn Snowpark" awaits with a true shredding paradise and another insider's tip!
