Ski region Meiringen-Hasliberg

The diverse Meiringen-Hasliberg ski area is located at a height of 1,055 – 2,433 m and offers a total of 60 kilometres of piste, which are connected with 15 lifts. Dominantly medium-level pistes allow you to completely and utterly dedicate yourself to the delights of the snow. The pistes in the upper part of the ski area are especially steep, where the most difficult run, the "Nordpol" ("North Pole", 1.5 km) also lies: it covers a difference in altitude of 540 m! The longest run also bears the longest name: at 10 km in length, the panoramic Glogghüs-Hohsträss-Käserstatt-Balisalp-Hohfluh run provides first-class skiing enjoyment. The Mägisalp with its wonderful deep-snow terrain is waiting to be explored! Freeriders will also find the best conditions around Gummenalp, Hochsträss or Glogghüs. A particular challenge for every pro is the former World Cup descent from Planplatten with an altitude drop of 1,200 m! The children's ski paradise Skihäsliland awaits the younger winter sports fan, with great playing areas including an igloo village. Anyone still not wanting to leave the pistes after the sun goes down can spend time each Friday (from 11 Jan. 2019 - 15 Mar. 2019) on the Mägisalp-Reuti illuminated piste. This run has a total length of 4.5 km and can be reached via three different lifts until 22:00 during these dates.
