Location and facilities

The comfortable 4-star hotel Sanotel is located approx. 400 m from the centre of Bad Gastein. The Graukogelbahn lift is about 450 m away and can be reached by foot. A ski bus stops directly at the accommodation and takes you to the Stubnerkogel mountain railway, which is approx. 2 km away. Access to the cross-country ski trails is available in approx. 800 m.

The hotel comprises a reception, lift, lounge, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, bar as well as a ski cellar. Free-of-charge parking spaces (upon availability) and a payable parking garage can also be used.

Furthermore the hotel offers a spa area (approx. 350 m²) with indoor pool, Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and vapour bath (opening hours as per info in resort). Massages can be booked for a locally payable fee. Upon arrival you receive in resort the Gastein Card (Guest Card), valid for free services and several reductions, like on use of the public buses, discounted entry at the Felsentherme, on toboggan hire etc. (subject ot change, please see info in resort).

Rooms

The cosy and spacious rooms have a bath or shower/wc, satellite TV, safe, Wi-Fi and hair dryer. Some also have a balcony or terrace.

Board

The breakfast included in the holiday price comprises an extensive buffet with regional products. Vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free products are available on request.

  • Children aged 5 or under may use the lifts in Gasteinertal for free. Should your child be using the lifts independently in other ski areas of the Ski amadé or be taking part in lessons, a Minicard (lift pass) has to be acquired locally.
