Location

The interconnected 3-star Hotel Rauscher & Paracelsus is only approx. 100 m away from the centre of Bad Hofgastein and approx. 1.5 km away from the access point to the Gastein ski area (Schlossalmbahn/Schlossalm Lift). The nearest ski bus stop is approx. 50 m away and the next cross-country trail is approx. 80 m away. The toboggan run is approx. 2 km away.

Facilities

The traditional hotel complex has a reception, Wi-Fi, lift, breakfast room, lounge, children's playroom, library, ski cellar, parking garage (for a fee) and parking spaces (subject to availability).

Additionally, a spa area measuring 120 m² with a Finnish sauna, steam bath, sanarium, infrared cabin and relaxation area are available. Additionally, you can use the fitness room for free and book massages for a fee.

On site, you will receive the Gastein Card with numerous included services and discounts, such as reduced entry to the "Felsen- und Alpentherme" (Rock and alpine thermal bath), use of buses and toboggan hire (as per info on site, changes and restrictions subject to change).

Board

Board is not included when booking apartments. However, apartment guests can book breakfast on site (for a fee).

With the booking of rooms, a rich breakfast buffet is included in the holiday price. Vegetarian alternatives are offered, dietary food, gluten-free, lactose-free products are available on request.

Important notes

  • Use of the lifts in the Gastein Valley is free for children ages 5 and under. Should your child use the lifts in other ski areas of Ski amadé independently, a "Minicard" (lift pass) must be purchased in resort.
  • Should you have booked equipment hire through us, the hire shop is located in Bad Gastein (approx. 9 km).
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
