Whether beginner or pro: the varied pistes in the Montafon and Brandnertal inspire every level of skier. Advanced skiers and experts in particular will find challenging descents with panoramic views of the imposing Alps. The ultra-modern lift systems, such as the Panorama cable car from Kapell up to Grasjoch, guarantee fast ascents without long waiting times. A real highlight is the legendary HochjochTotale: with a length of 12 km and a difference in altitude of 1,700 metres, it is the longest continuous descent to the valley in Vorarlberg.
From winter 2025/26, the brand-new Loischkopfbahn lift operated by Bergbahnen Brandnertal in Bürserberg will also provide even more comfort and an unforgettable mountain experience - including spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
And because modern winter days can also be digital, many hotspots in the ski area offer you free Wi-Fi. So you can share your favourite skiing moments with family and friends directly from the mountain.
In addition to wide pistes, the Montafon ski region promises another highlight with the Snowpark Montafon. As one of the largest fun parks in Austria, it offers an experience that is hard to beat. Equipped with rails, boxes, rollers, hips and kickers in all levels of difficulty, even experienced freestylers will find their terrain here. Good skiers can also expect many challenging pistes, of which the freeride descents in the Hochjoch area are highly recommended. It is no coincidence that the Freeride World Tour has already visited the Hochjoch. A new highlight is Austria's first freeride cross. Located right next to the snowpark, the 800-metre-long "Freda Bahn" fun slope offers a great mix of steep turns, jumps, a tunnel and natural obstacles - an absolute must for the whole family! The Novatal is also ideal for freeride beginners and invites you to try your first freestyle moves.
