Ski area Präbichl - Vordernberg
The well-distributed easy, medium and difficult descents make Präbichl a family-friendly area away from mass tourism. Ski schools and ski hire directly on site make it easy for beginners, returners and children to arrive and get started.
Thanks to modern snowmaking and a season that runs from the beginning of December to the end of March, reliable ski operations are possible almost all winter long.
Après ski Präbichl - Vordernberg
Instead of large party areas, there are cosy huts and small pubs where you can round off the day's skiing with a freshly tapped beer, a glass of Styrian wine or a warming mulled wine. On the terraces and in the parlours, people meet for après ski in a small setting, chat about the best descent of the day and enjoy regional delicacies such as soups, snacks or traditional desserts.
In the village of Eisenerz itself, cafés, bars and inns provide a relaxed evening programme: from a casual drink at the bar to a cosy games or cartel evening to a social get-together with locals. There are also regular events and smaller events on offer - such as live music, themed evenings or winter activities such as joint tobogganing trips.
If you are looking for an authentic, quieter winter experience and prefer to end the day in good company rather than in crowded large discos, après ski in Eisenerz is the place for you: manageable, warm and with plenty of Styrian charm
Snowpark Präbichl - Vordernberg: Funslope
There isn't a real snowpark with big kickers and rails at Präbichl, but the varied Funslope provides plenty of action. Here, one unusual element follows the next: bumps, small jumps and a giant snail with a tunnel are just waiting to be discovered. The "Slopy" mascot and a high-five element with sound effect are permanent features of the course and will delight winter sports enthusiasts of all ages. For those who want to try out even more, the Kids Up-Down Box offers an additional opportunity to put their skills to the test in a fun way.
