Location

The family-run 4-star Naturhotel Der Grubacher, which has its own organic farm, is situated approx. 2 km from the centre of Gerlos. The “Isskogelbahn” lift, about 500 m away, provides access to the ski area. When snow conditions are good, you can enjoy a descent right down to the hotel. Cross-country skiing is available on the network of trails, which is also in the immediate vicinity. You can also enjoy some sporting activity on the toboggan run, approx. 500 m from the hotel. Ski buses stop about 500 m away. The nearest shops are approx. 1.7 km away, whilst the nearest cafés and restaurants are just 1 km away.
The chalet belonging to the hotel is not officially classified and is situated approx. 300 m above the hotel (ski-in & ski-out).

Facilities

This hotel features various amenities, such as a reception, Wi-Fi, a common room, a lift, a breakfast room, a hotel restaurant, a hotel bar and a wine cellar. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski cellar. Drivers can use a parking lot - subject to availability.

Spa

The spa area, covering approx. 500 m², is the perfect place to relax (access for hotel guests only; opening hours as per the notice on site). Here you’ll also find a Finnish sauna, a panoramic sauna, a steam bath, an infrared cabin and an adventure shower. You can also relax in the relaxation room, which features a tea and juice bar. There is a heated indoor pool within your accommodation. The natural swimming pond allows you to swim as if in the great outdoors; it can also be used in winter to cool off. Massages are available for a fee. Bathrobes and sauna towels are available on site (for hire). The hotel’s spa area is for the exclusive use of hotel guests. The chalet has a barrel sauna and a hot tub.

Children

The children's playroom offers a range of play experiences for young guests to keep them content and entertained. Cots are provided for a fee, high chairs can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Board

The half board catering plan includes a rich buffet style breakfast with regional products. At dinner, our cooks put together a 4-course menu of choice with produkts from our own farm. On request, we also serve lactose-free dishes (for a fee), gluten-free (for a fee) as well as vegetarian alternatives. The accommodation can also be booked without board.

Important notes

• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• Information for guests staying in the Chalet, sleeps 7: On the day of arrival (from 15:00), you will be taken to the chalet by shuttle service (the same applies to the transfer on the day of departure at 09:00).
• The chalet can be reached directly on skis until 17:00. After that, no skiing or walking on the slopes is permitted, as the slopes are closed for grooming. Shuttle services are available at specific times by arrangement and for a fee.
• The chalet has no official classification. Check-in takes place at the Naturhotel Der Grubacher (including payment of the security deposit).
• A tour of the stables for children accompanied by their parents is included.
• Dogs are not permitted in the bar or restaurant.
