Location
The family-friendly 4-star Familienhotel Oberkarteis is located approx. 10.5 km from the centre of Großarl in the district of Karteis. The centre of Hüttschlag, always a perfect place for an excursion, is approx. 2.7 km away. Access to the ski area is possible via the "Panoramabahn Großarltal" lift, which is about 11.3 km away. Ski buses stop right outside the hotel.Facilities
This comfortable accommodation consists of a main building and an annex. The hotel's facilities include a reception (07:30 - 21:00, subject to change), reception area with seating, Wi-Fi, lounge, recreation room, lift, breakfast room, hotel restaurant, parlour and hotel bar. You can store your winter sports equipment in a heated and lockable ski/snowboard storage room with ski boot dryer. There is on-site parking and a charging station for electric cars (subject to a fee) – subject to availability.Spa
The approx. 200 m² spa area (11:00 to 21:30) features a Finnish sauna, organic sauna and steam bath. You can also relax in the relaxation room. Inside your accommodation, there is a 40 m² indoor pool with a baby pool and slide. Beauty treatments and massages are available for a fee. Bathrobes and sauna towels are available on site (on loan). The approx. 250 m² children's play area offers age-appropriate entertainment for younger guests, even in bad weather. Here you will find books, games, a craft corner, and a football hall, as well as bobby cars and a soft play area. There is also a children's playground. Six times a week, the hotel offers loving care for children aged 0-17 (Mon-Fri and Sun, 09:00-17:00 and 18:00-20:00, approx. 10 hours per day). - Changes and restrictions to services and validity periods are subject to change; see information on site. Baby monitors are available for an additional fee; high chairs and cots are included (on request/subject to availability). Changing mats and baby baths can also be provided. When booking rooms with all-inclusive light catering, meals include a cold/hot breakfast buffet (07:30 to 10:00) with products from our own farm. Snacks are available at lunchtime (12:00 to 13:00). Afternoon meals include a selection of hot and cold dishes, with soup and salad also served. In the evening (18:00 to 20:00), you can enjoy a 4-course menu with a salad buffet, cheese specialities and a dessert buffet. There is a children's menu for dinner. - This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
- Meals are served in the main building.
- When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
- The use of the lift facilities is free of charge for children aged 5 or under (at time of departure) in Großarl. These children will be issued with a free mini card at the lift ticket office on site. If your child wishes to use the lifts in other Ski amadé ski areas independently, a mini card (lift pass) may need to be purchased on site.
