Location

The family-run Hotel Gratz is located in the village of Grossarl and is only about 180 metres from the Kieserlbahn cable car, which was newly built in 2023 and provides easy access to the Grossarl - Dorfgastein ski area. Alternatively, the valley station of the Panoramabahn 1 lift is just 250 metres away. There is a ski bus stop directly in front of the hotel and the first shopping facilities are around 150 metres away. The entrance to a cross-country ski trail is around 1 km away and a toboggan run is just under 3 km away.

Facilities

The general facilities of the cosy hotel include a reception, Wi-Fi, lift, lounge, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, children's playroom with table football and air hockey as well as a ski cellar for your equipment. Parking spaces and garage parking spaces are available free of charge, subject to availability. There is also a charging station for electric cars on site (subject to availability).

The hotel has a 160 m² spa area with Finnish sauna, organic sauna, aroma steam bath, infrared cabin, experience showers, stone relaxation room and Swiss stone pine relaxation room with waterbeds. A spring fountain and a small tea bar are available for refreshment. Massages are available on request (for a fee).

Board

Breakfast PLUS or half board is included in the holiday price, depending on the room type or board type booked. The breakfast option includes a rich breakfast buffet with mainly home-made organic products from the Grossarl region. When booking a room type with half board, a choice of menu in the evening is also included. Vegetarian alternatives are available on site and gluten-free, lactose-free and vegan dishes and dietary requirements can be requested.

Sunday and Monday are closed days (no dinner!), so only breakfast is included on these days.

Important notes

  • Use of the lifts in Grossarl is free of charge for children aged 5 or under. These children will be issued with a free Minicard at the lift ticket office on site. If your child uses the lifts in other ski areas of the Ski amadé independently, a Minicard (lift pass) may have to be purchased on site.
  • Sunday and Monday are closed days (no dinner!), therefore only breakfast is included on these days.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
