The ski area Kasberg is situated right next to it and features 21 km of pistes, as well as several cross-country trails, which will make the hearts of cross-country skiers beat faster.

One of the characteristic features of the municipality Grünau with its 2,100 inhabitants is the large forest area. Approximately 75% of the municipality is covered with trees. Moreover, guests will experience pure idyll at the lakes Kleiner Ödsee and Großer Ödsee, as well as on the riverbank of the river Alm, which flows through the town.
