Location and facilities

The family-run 3-star Hotel Gamshag is located in the centre of Hinterglemm. The Reiterkogel chair lift and the ski bus are only approx. 100 m away. In good snow conditions, skiing down to a distance of 30 m from the accommodation is possible. The access point to the nearest cross-country trail is approx. 1 km.

The friendly accommodation is comprised of a main building and a side building, which is approx. 10 m away. The facilities include an entrance area with parlour and ski and boot room. The spa area with steam bath, sauna, Finnish sauna, sanarium, infrared cabin and relaxation room can be used for free (opening hours as per info in resort). The solarium and the jacuzzi are available to use for a fee, massages are possible on request (for a fee). Free parking spaces are can also be found at the accommodation and used upon availability.

Rooms

The cosy rooms have a bath or shower/WC, TV, telephone, hair dryer, seating area, Wi-Fi and safe. Accommodation can be in the main house and in the side building.

Board

The half board included in the price comprises a breakfast buffet and a 4-course menu or buffet with salad buffet in the evening. Christmas and New Year's Eve dinners in the form of a 4-course menu are also included. A children's menu is available on request.

  • Please note that the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays, meaning no evening meal is served on this day.
  • Children from the age of 16 can only access the spa area when accompanied by an adult.
  • If you have booked ski equipment through us, the hire shop is in Saalbach (approx. 3 km).
  • If you have booked a lift pass, it is already valid from 15:00 on the day before the first day of validity.
  • When booking rooms with multiple or additional beds, there is no claim to the additional beds
