Lavanttal Alps

The Lavanttal Alps are part of the Austrian and Slovenian Central Alps between the rivers Mur and Drau. The mountain range includes the Koralpe, Gleinalpe, Saualpe and the Seetal Alps. The name Lavanttal Alps originates from the Lavant Valley in Carinthia, which is also called "The Paradise of Carinthia" due to its climate conditions and many cultural specialities.
