Ski area Zettersfeld

With the "SkiHit" lift pass, you can enjoy 202 kilometres of pistes (incl. ski routes) in the eight ski areas of Großglockner Resort, St. Jakob im Defereggental - Brunnalm, Sillian/Hochpustertal, Kartitsch, Lienz, Obertilliach-Golzentipp, Mölltal Glacier and Ankogel (see ski region).

By merging the ski areas of Matrei and Kals, the new Großglockner Resort (933 - 2,426 m) forms the largest ski area in East Tyrol with 40 kilometres of pistes and 16 lifts. You can reach the access point in Matrei after approx. 27 km.

The Zettersfeld ski area in Lienz (728 - 2,278 m) also offers family-friendly skiing fun on a total of around 21 kilometres of pistes and is easily accessible from the centre of Lienz. Numerous varied slopes for beginners and ambitious skiers promise wonderful skiing moments against the marvellous backdrop of the Lienz Dolomites.

The 400 metre long Funslope in Zettersfeld with 16 different elements such as waves, curves and jumps promises lots of fun. If you want even more variety, simply explore the other ski areas in the region and be impressed by the unique range of pistes and the magnificent mountain panorama.

Après ski Zettersfeld

The Zettersfeld ski area has several restaurants and ski huts where you can recharge your batteries for the day's skiing. If you want to keep partying in the evening, the historic city of Lienz offers a lively entertainment. Lots of bars, clubs and discos are available for types of interests. One of the most popular discos is the "Mausefalle" with it's large dance floor.

If you'd rather spend your time a bit less lively you can visit the café-bar "Zeitlos". Besides this, the town and the surrounding area offers a great selection of leisure time possibilities, such as snowshoe hikes and romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides. A real highlight for the whole family is Lama trekking. A short try-out tour is offered.

The toboggan run provides a rush of adrenaline the whole year round. From the Moosalm at Lienzer Hochstein the run descends over 2.7 km through the forest right back to Lienz. The natural toboggan run Hochstein, with a length of 6.5 km, as well as another run in Leisach promise good fun for the whole family

Snowpark Zettersfeld: Funslope am Zettersfeld

The Funslope Lienz with 16 varied elements is located directly in the Zettersfeld ski area. Here beginners, fun athletes and professionals will find good opportunities to show and improve their skills. The fun park is approx. 400 m long and guarantees a daily rush of adrenaline, with various waves, curves and jumps.
