Location

The modern Hostel Maria Alm hotel is located approx. 1,5 km away from the centre of Maria Alm in the district of Aberg. Access to the ski slopes is provided by the Abergbahn mountain railway approx. 170 m away. Alpine skiers and snowboarders can get on a slope directly at the door. Cross-country skiing trails can be reached within about 1 km. You can experience a rush of adrenaline on a well-prepared toboggan run approx. 1 km away from the hotel. The Saalfelden railway station can be reached after approx. 5 km.

Facilities

The hotel offers various amenities, such as a reception (08:00 - 10:00 & 17:00 - 19:00, subject to change), Wi-Fi, a common room, a lift and a breakfast room. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski cellar. Drivers can use a parking lot - subject to availability.

Children

The children's playroom offers a range of play experiences for young guests, no matter the weather. High chairs can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Board

The half board catering plan includes a rich buffet style breakfast with fresh fruit, cereals, bread as well as egg dishes. At dinner, our cooks put together a 4-course menu of choice with a salad bar as well as a soup. On request, we also serve vegetarian alternatives.

Important notes

  • Children aged 5 or under can use the lift systems in Maria Alm free of charge. If your child uses the lifts in other Ski amadé ski areas independently, a minicard (lift pass) may have to be purchased on site.
  • Easter family promotion: 14/03/2026 – 06/04/2026. When booking for 6 or more days, children born in 2010 or later receive a free multi-day pass (official proof of family relationship required). The prerequisite is that at least one parent purchases a multi-day pass for 6 or more days for the same period. If there are more children than adults travelling or if the promotion requirements are not met, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
