Location

The family-led 3-star Superior Bachschmied hotel is located approx. 4,4 km away from the centre of Maria Alm in the district of Hintermoos. You can access the ski area by taking the Schwarzeckalmbahn gondola lift approx. 85 m away, or the SINALCObahn cable car approx. 100 m away. In addition, the Natrunbahn cable car operates in the area, the station is approx. 5 km away. Ski buses stop within about 100 m. The Saalfelden railway station can be reached after approx. 11 km. Nearby shopping opportunities can be reached within approx. 4,3 km, local cafés and restaurants can be accessed within approx. 700 m.

Facilities

This hotel features various amenities, such as a reception, Wi-Fi, a lift, a hotel restaurant and a hotel bar. Outdoors, hotel guests can find a terrace. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a lockable ski storage room with a ski boot dryer.

Spa

Our wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul (opening hours: 15:00 - 19:00) and enjoy a Finnish sauna, an organic sauna and an infrared cabin. Let the stress of everyday life dissipate in the relaxation room or recharge in the refreshment area with water and juice bar. Our staff provides guests with a bathrobe on a loan basis. Opening hours of individual wellness facilities and validity periods are subject to change.

Board

The half board catering plan includes a buffet style breakfast (07:30 - 10:00) with cold and warm options. At dinner (18:00 - 19:30), our cooks put together a 4-course menu of choice. There is a children's menu at dinner. On request, we also serve vegetarian alternatives.

  • This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
  • Over-occupancy resulting from babies: not possible
  • Children aged 5 or under can use the lift systems in Maria Alm free of charge. If your child uses the lifts in other Ski amadé ski areas independently, a minicard (lift pass) may have to be purchased on site.
  • Easter family promotion: 14/03/2026 – 06/04/2026. When booking for 6 or more days, children born in 2010 or later receive a free multi-day pass (official proof of family relationship required). The prerequisite is that at least one parent purchases a multi-day pass for 6 or more days for the same period. If there are more children than adults travelling or if the promotion requirements are not met, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
