Location

The modern 4-star Sonnschein hotel is located approx. 800 m away from the centre of Niederau in the district of Wildschönau. Access to the ski slopes is provided by the Markbachjohnbahn mountain railway approx. 700 m away. Beautiful winter hike trails can be easily accessed directly from the hotel in a couple of minutes on foot. Cross-country skiing trails can be reached within about 300 m. Ski buses stop within about 400 m.

Facilities

This hotel has an attached building. The hotel features various facilities, such as a reception, a lobby with a seating area, Wi-Fi, a lift, a hotel restaurant and a hotel bar. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. Drivers can use a parking lot - subject to availability.

Spa

The spa area is the perfect place to relax (4.00 pm – 7.00 pm). Here you will also find a Finnish sauna, bio-sauna, brine sauna, clothing sauna and steam bath. A laconium is also available as a further wellness facility. You can also relax in the relaxation room. On request, you can receive a wellness bag (for a fee) on site for the duration of your stay, containing useful items such as a bathrobe, bath towel and slippers. Inside your accommodation, there are two indoor pools, one of which features a counter-current system and massage jets, and one reserved for adults only (07:30 – 19:00). The solarium and massage treatments are available for a fee. Opening hours and validity periods are subject to conditions.

Children

The children's playroom offers a range of play experiences for young guests to keep them content and entertained. High chairs and cots can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Entertainment

For leisure activities, the accommodation offers billiards (for a fee). In addition, the accommodation offers various sports facilities, such as a fitness room with a bouldering area (open 24 hours a day, approx. 25 m²) and table tennis.

Board

The half board catering plan includes a rich buffet style breakfast with cold and warm options. At dinner, our cooks put together a 4-course menu of choice with a salad bar. There is a children's menu at dinner. A special festive menu will also be served at Christmas, on New Year's Eve a festive menu will be offered.
