Obergurgl - Hochgurgl

High snow reliability from November to May, slopes above the tree line, impressive panoramic views of the surrounding three-thousand-metre peaks and state-of-the-art snow-making facilities: these are just some of the reasons to holiday in this region! The two rather quiet villages of Obergurgl (1,930 m) and Hochgurgl (2,150 m) are located at the very end of the Ötztal valley, on the high alpine road to the Timmelsjoch.

In the midst of this magnificent mountain world, the focus is more on quality than quantity, which is particularly noticeable in the exclusive hotel village of Hochgurgl. Obergurgl is traffic-calmed, and at night there is even a complete driving ban. In both villages, you can ski almost right to your front door. Obergurgl is not only the highest church village in Austria, but thanks to its exposed location, the ski area is also considered one of the most snow-sure in the Alps! The atmosphere here is rustic and cosy, as the villages are known for their hut tradition with hut evenings and sophisticated après-ski.

Ötztal

Few alpine valleys have as much to offer a guest as the Ötztal in Tyrol: kilometres of piste en masse and for all abilities, very modern lift systems, extensive cross-country tracks and around 250 mountains looming at 3000 m throughout the Ötztal Alps - skiers' pulses will certainly race! Additionally, there is an abundance of cleared winter hiking trails, rustic huts and in the evenings - depending on taste - an upbeat mood in the numerous discos and bars, a fun sledding party or night skiing. Quaint winter villages, the most prominent winter sports resorts, and not least the Aqua Dome in Längenfeld, which promises rest and relaxation - no wish is left unfulfilled!
