Location

The comfortable Almdorf Auszeit Fageralm is located around 500 m from the village centre of Forstau and the nearest shopping facilities. The village of Pichl is 5.8 km away. The Fageralm ski lift is approx. 120 metres away. The ski bus to the "Reiteralm" ski area also runs from there (approx. 4.5 km). A cross-country ski trail and a toboggan run are around 4.5 km away.

Facilities

The general facilities of the Almdorf, which consists of 27 chalets, include a reception and Wi-Fi. Each chalet has a ski room with ski boot dryer. There are free parking spaces, subject to availability and a charging station for electric cars can also be used (for a fee).

Each chalet also has a private spa bathroom with corner bath, Finnish sauna/bio-sauna and rain shower.

Board

Self-catering. On request, a bread roll service can be booked on site (for a fee).

Important notes

  • Please note that depending on the location of your booked chalet, the distances to the ski lift/ski bus etc. may vary. The Almdorf consists of a total of 27 chalets.
  • Use of the lift facilities is free of charge for children aged 5 or under in Pichl. These children will be issued with a free Minicard at the lift ticket office on site. If your child uses the lifts in other Ski amadé ski areas independently, a mini card (lift pass) may need to be purchased on site.
  • Easter family promotion: 14/03/2026 - 06/04/2026 - Children born in 2010 or later receive a free multi-day pass for 6 days or more (official proof of family relationship required). The prerequisite is that at least one parent purchases a multi-day ticket for 6 days or more for the same period. If there are more children than adults travelling together or if the promotion requirements are not met, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
