Location and facilities
The comfortable 4-star Hotel Gisela is located approx. 200 m from the resort centre and approx. 2.5 km from the ski area Hochötz. The ski bus stops directly in front of the accommodation and the nearest access to a cross-country trail is approx. 20 km away in Längenfeld.The friendly accommodation offers a main and side building (Landhaus, approx. 50 m apart) and provides a reception, lift, lobby with Wi-Fi (incl.), lounge and reading room, breakfast room, dining hall, a la carte restaurant, and a room with fireplace and a bar.
In the freely accessible spa area there is an indoor pool (7 a.m. - 7.30 p.m.), a large steam bath, organic sauna grotto and a Finnish sauna, as well as a relaxation room, cold-water pool, jacuzzi and an infrared cabin (3 - 7.30 p.m.). If paid for locally there is also solarium and massages (on request) available. Further, the fitness room can be used for free.
The hotel also offers a ski room and a heated ski boot stand, as well as free parking spaces (based on availability).
The "Happy Family" weeks are organised between 16/12 - 23/12/2017, 13/01 - 27/01/2018, 17/03 - 24/03/2018 and 07/04 - 14/04/2018 (organised by the Ötztal Tourism Agency, Oetz region). For stays starting from 7 nights, children from 4 years old (born in and after 2012) will receive a free 5 day ski course and small children between 2 - 4 years old may participate in childcare services for 5 days (only with valid lift pass, minimum length of stay is 7 nights, midday childcare service for a fee, sign up in resort).
Room
The cosy rooms all have a bath or shower/wc, satellite TV, telephone, mini bar (only filled on request, payable locally), safe (payable locally), hair drier and some also have a balcony (according to type of room). The apartment is in the neighbouring Landhaus sidebuilding, which is not categorised by hotel stars.Board
Half-board is already included in the holiday price and comprises a breakfast buffet witj an organic food corner, and a 4-course evening menu (with choice of 2 main dishes). Occasionally there is also a salad buffet. A vegetarian menu is also available and lactose- or gluten-free meals can be served upon prior reservation. The festive Christmas dinner and a New Year's gala dinner are also already included in the price.Room type
