Location and facilities

The traditional 3-star Hotel Neue Post is located in the centre of Schladming, directly on the main square. The Planai ski area is about 600 m away, and the cross-country ski trail starts in Rohrmoos (about 4 km). The ski bus stops about 100 m away.

The hotel has a reception, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, dining room and a ski and boot room for your equipment. There are parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the house, which you can use subject to availability and for a fee.

You can use the wellness area (opening times according to the notice board on site) with Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, Kneipp basin and relaxation room free of charge.

The spacious, cosy rooms are equipped with bath or shower/wc, cable TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, radio and hair dryer.

The half-board included in the holiday price consists of a rich breakfast buffet and a 3-course menu with salad buffet in the evening.

Important notes

  • Children are only allowed access to the spa area when accompanied by an adult.
  • Use of the lifts is free for children aged 5 or under (at time of departure). If your child uses the lifts independently in other Ski amadé ski areas, a mini card (lift pass) may need to be purchased on site.
  • Easter family promotion: 14/03/2026 - 12/04/2026 - Children born in 2010 or later receive a free multi-day pass for 6 days or more (official proof of family relationship required). This is subject to at least one parent purchasing a multi-day pass for 6 days or more for the same period. If there are more children than adults travelling together or if the promotion requirements are not met, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
