Location
The historic 4-star superior Sporthotel Royer is situated approximately 900 metres from the centre of Schladming. Access to the ski area is via the "Planai" cable car, around 500 metres away, or the "Planai West" cable car, approximately 2 kilometres away. The "Rohrmoos 1" cable car also runs approximately 2 km away. The "Erlebnisbad Schladming" indoor swimming pool is located very close by. The "Erlebnis-Therme Amadé" thermal spa, situated approximately 24 km away, also offers a special spa experience. You can enjoy sporting activities on the toboggan run, approximately 6 km from the hotel. Ski buses stop around 100 m away. Schladming railway station is approximately 1.5 km away. A shuttle service is available to the station. There is also a shuttle service to the lift.Facilities
The comfortable hotel’s facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi, lounge, lift, breakfast room, in-house restaurant and hotel bar. You can store your winter sports equipment in a heated ski/snowboard storage room with a ski boot dryer. On-site facilities include parking spaces, a multi-storey parking garage (for a fee) and a charging station for electric cars (for a fee) – subject to availability.Spa
As a guest at the Sporthotel Royer, you have free daily access to the Schladming public leisure pool, which you can easily reach via a heated access route from the hotel. The centre features approx. 380 m² of water surface, 25-metre swimming lanes, a counter-current system, a lazy river, a massage bench, a waterfall shower, an all-weather outdoor pool, a toddler pool and an approx. 66-metre-long slide. In the hotel’s own sauna area, covering approx. 100 m², you will find a Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and tepidarium. You can also relax in the relaxation area with a fresh-air terrace exclusively for hotel guests. Massages are available for a fee.Children
The children’s playroom offers age-appropriate entertainment for our younger guests. The teens’ lounge with a chill-out zone and cinema, as well as the fun room with table tennis, pinball and much more, ensure plenty of fun. Important notes
- This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
- When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
- Children aged 5 or under (at time of departure) can use the lift systems free of charge. If your child uses the lifts in other Ski amadé ski areas independently, a minicard (lift pass) may need to be purchased on site.
- Easter family promotion: 14/03/2026 - 12/04/2026 - Children born in 2010 or younger receive a free multi-day ticket for 6 days or more (official family ID required). The prerequisite is that at least one parent purchases a multi-day ticket from 6 days for the same period. If there are more children travelling with you than adults or if you do not meet the promotion requirements, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site.
